Deep in the Gulf of Mexico

Keith Love had shot a 60lb wahoo that was cruising at about 50' , I was backing Keith up when I caught glimpse of the AJ coming up from the reef (110'deep) to check things out. I dove down trying to stay behind the wahoo. When I got to the wahoo the AJ was about 8' below and I took the shot. I got a good gill/head shot, and the fight was on. I had a Mako hard float, and a 20lit Rob Allen float and I watched them go down 25' several times. After 30 minutes of fight he tired out, but by then he was surrounded by about 6-8' sharks. We were 100 yards from the boat and Keith says " Show your dominance and go get your fish". Well I decided to wait until we were a little closer to the boat to go get him, but they didn't give us any problems.
